    Chief introduces the first Heavy Duty Truck Collision Repair Course available to the industry. This course is first to detail structural repair principles and techniques for the Heavy Duty Market. An understanding of construction methods, steel properties, OEM procedures, and general repair principles are all covered in this comprehensive course. Proper use of measuring and pulling equipment are demonstrated and discussed. With the use of our Heavy Duty Damage Simulator, Chief can duplicate structural and body damage while monitoring their effects on the structure as this relates to how repairs can be blueprinted prior to beginning the repair process. This course is designed for technicians, estimators, and appraisers with valuable repair and analysis information. This is a two-day course available on a limited basis.

    Welding Technologies -- 2 Day
    Chief University small

    Chief introduces its Welding Qualification Program. This course offers some lecture, but mostly hands-on experiences with welding steel and aluminum. By attending this class, the student will learn how to properly set up the welder for steel, aluminum and MIG brazing exercises. Learn how to troubleshoot and tune the welder to perform various welds. Once the student reaches proficiency, a qualification test is given to test their abilities in various types of welds. A Chief Certificate is awarded to all participants upon successful completion of the course. This is a two-day intensive course that should be attended by technicians.

    ADA Course (Aluminum Damage Analysis and Repair Technology) -- 1 Day

    This 1-day (8 hour) interactive class is designed for entry level or experienced appraisers and structural repair technicians. In this course, students will learn the principles of Aluminum forming methods, alloys, temper designations, damage analysis, repair processes, welding basics, and OEM recommendations.
