Chief’s new Ford Aluminum Truck/SUV Structural Holding Package is approved for use when repairing collision damage to the all-new Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs.

Chief has redesigned and upgraded its popular MultiTool Aluminum Repair Station. The station’s all-new cabinet is taller and slimmer, with improved equipment accessibility and five drawers to neatly store contamination-sensitive tools. The Multitool Aluminum Repair Station comes with the new Chief M30 Pro Alu Stud Gun Welder and new temperature crayons that enable techs to better determine when metal has been heated to the optimal temperature for pulling out dents.


Chief’s new Universal Uni-Clamp Anchoring System is now standard on all Chief frame racks. The anchor stand features a replaceable crosshatch section that works like 180 teeth on both jaws and the anchoring stand to provide superior gripping power on the high-strength steel pinch welds common on modern vehicles.

Maserati has approved a range of Chief® collision repair equipment for use in the structural repair of its vehicles. The following Chief equipment joins the Globaljig® Presented by Chief® Super Rotax and Koala Quick Pull bench systems in the Maserati Certified Body Shop Program:

Ford, Mitsubishi and Nissan have approved the Chief Vulcan Adhesive Debonding Unit (ADU) for use in the structural repair of their vehicles. 


Chief is bringing back the impulse Tilt frame rack in response to customer requests for a basic frame rack that’s reliable and affordable.

Chief’s Heavy-Duty Rivet Gun puts out 10 metric tons of compression force — plenty of power to install new rivets or press out existing rivets in the thick steel and aluminum used to build heavy-duty truck cabs. It also uses 8 metric tons of tension force to hydraulically retract the punching tool from metal sheets easily and simply – with just the push of a button.

American Honda has approved the Chief MI200T Spot Welder for use in collision repair by its ProFirst Certified body shops in North America. The MI200T is now available to dealers through Honda’s tool and equipment program. 

Madison, Ind. (May 15, 2017) – Ford has approved the Chief PNP90 Rivet Gun for use in repairing collision damage to the aluminum-bodied F-150. The PNP90 is the only rivet gun in the Ford F-150 Collision Repair Program that is pneumatically driven to provide maximum rivet consistency.

Madison, Ind. (April 19, 2017) Chief introduces a mobile cabinet (p/n CHR2100) equipped with counter-weighted boom for its Heavy-Duty Rivet Gun. By taking some of the rivet gun’s weight off the technicians’ shoulders, the Chief Heavy-Duty Rivet Gun Cabinet helps technicians more easily maneuver the gun and work longer with less physical strain and fatigue.

Technician and appraiser studentswho pass any Chief University course of six or more hours will automatically be registered to receive I-CAR ProLevel® Platinum™ recognition program credits at no charge. The credits will post to the students’ I-CAR accounts in as few as two working days after completing approved Chief University classes. This new I-CAR partnership program is retroactive to all eligible Chief University students from January 1, 2017.

Chief University introduces the first all-encompassing, hands-on collision repair class focused on joining technologies. The one-day Chief University Joining Technologies class is designed to provide estimators and appraisers a thorough understanding of the current welding, riveting and adhesive bonding and removal technologies being used in today’s shops. 


Chief offers attendees at the 40th annual NORTHEAST® 2017 Automotive Services Show the opportunity to compare the features and benefits of frame racks and benches with a single stop at booth #643. The Chief booth has been expanded this year to include the latest in measuring, joining, debonding, alignment and other collision repair equipment. 

Chief has appointed two new distributors to represent its full line of collision repair equipment in Texas. Professional Collision Equipment of Abilene will service customers in the northern, panhandle, western and valley regions of the state, including Dallas, Lubbock, Amarillo, El Paso, Brownsville and Laredo.
