Requirement: All participants MUST complete the Structural Damage Analysis (SDA)
Course before enrolling in this course.
This advanced course features 16-hours of instruction on collision theory, structural damage analysis skills and correction
procedures on body-on-frame vehicles for the experienced body shop estimator or insurance appraiser.
This highly interactive course covers:
- Collision theory of body-on-frame
vehicles with specific emphasis
on pickup trucks and
sport utility design vehicles.
- Visual inspection of the vehicle's
lower and upper structure to determine
types of misalignment.
- Hands-on measuring and analyzing
collision damage on a pickup or
sport utility vehicle.
- Computerized measuring and structural
damage reports.
- Writing detailed structural damage
repair.
- Plan and set up a structural repair.
- Hands-on structural realignment
of a damaged pickup or sport utility
vehicle.
- Analyzing damaged and misaligned
steering and suspension components
and verify their alignments.
