ADVANCED FULL FRAME REPAIR
|
|
Requirement: All participants MUST complete the Full Frame Analysis & Repair
Planning Course before enrolling in this course.
This advanced 2-day (16 hour) class is designed for entry level and experienced structural repair technicians who require
training in full frame vehicle repair. In this course, technicians will learn collision theory, structural damage
analysis skills and correction procedures for full frame vehicles to maximize both repair quality and profitability.
Key "hands-on" learning activities include:
- Real-world application of principles
of measuring, analyzing, and collision
theory.
- A working knowledge of setup and
use of both gauge and computerized
measuring systems.
- Use computerized structural reports,
gauge reading, and visual analysis
to accurately analyze
multiple structrual damage in a
full frame vehicle.
- Developing an accurate repair
plan based on this analysis.
- Use repair plan to secure, support,
prepare, and realign collision damaged
full frame vehicle structures.
- Correctly realign and verify steering
and suspension components in collision
damaged full frame vehicles.
- Understand stress in metals, stress
relief techniques, corrosion protection,
proper welding equipment and procedures.
