FULL FRAME ANALYSIS & REPAIR PLANNING
|
| This
2-day (16 hours) interactive class
is designed for entry level and experienced
structural repair technicians who
require training in full frame vehicle
analysis and repair. The course is
a prerequisite to the "Advanced
Full Frame Repair" technician's
class.
In this course, technicians will learn
the fundamental principles of Collision
Theory, measuring, analyzing, repair
planning, and setup for full frame vehicles
to maximize both repair quality and
profitability.
Key
"hands-on" learning activities
include:
- Identification of internal and
external forces that occur during
a collision that causes
structural misalignment in full
frame vehicles.
- Use of Collision Theory and basic
measuring procedures to measure
and analyze collision
damage in pickups and sport utility
vehicles.
- Developing an accurate repair
plan based on this analysis.
- Using the repair plan to set up
a collision damaged vehicle in preparation
for realignment.
- Actual "real world"
case studies of collision damaged
pickups and SUVs.
Students who successfully complete this approved training and wish to apply for I-CAR Gold Class points should reference course code CHEM-00004 on their applications.
