How To Get Connected

If you currently own a Chief measuring system abd have a high-speed internet connection, there are two ways you can get connected with E-Access:

Have Chief Do It For You

Call the Chief Support Line (1-800-445-9262, Option 1), and one of our skilled technicians will supply and install everything you need to get up and running. The cost for this service is approximately $399, depending on your network capabilities.

Or

Do It Yourself

You can save about $100 by doing the job yourself. Chief recommends you to use WIRELESS hardware equiptment from D-Link Systems, which is avaliable at most computer and office supply outlets, or you can purchase these items on-line at www.dlink.com or www.linksys.com:

• Access Point/Router 802.11G
• USB NIC with external cables antenna 802.11G

Chief recommends the US interface with external cabled antenna because it is so easy to install. Just plug it into the PC's USB port, and you are ready to go!
